Dr. Omar Chowdhry is a board-certified anesthesiologist in Fresno, California, committed to perioperative care grounded in trust, transparency, and excellence.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology with Honors from UC Berkeley and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine with Honors from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he simultaneously completed a Master of Education in Health Professionals Education. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at UCSF-Fresno and his residency in Anesthesiology at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Dr. Chowdhry currently serves as clinical faculty at California Health Sciences University, mentoring the next generation of physicians. A proud Edison High School graduate, he has come full circle, bringing world-class training home to make a meaningful difference for his patients and neighbors in the Central Valley.
